Professional bio
Maurice O. Thompson is an accomplished educator, instructional leader, and U.S. Navy veteran with more than 15 years of experience serving students and families in South Florida. As a Language Arts educator at Bair Middle School, he has built a reputation for excellence in literacy instruction, curriculum development, and student achievement. Twice recognized by the State of Florida as a Highly Effective Teacher, Maurice has successfully led initiatives that increased student performance, strengthened family engagement, and promoted data-driven instructional practices. His leadership experience includes serving as Language Arts Department Chair, PTSA Secretary, and mentor to fellow educators.
